DMH welcomes these physicians
Beth Gibson, M.D., specializing in allergy and immunology, has joined Dr. Steve Sobol, Dr. Steve Chadwick, Dr. Terry Woods and Nurse Practitioner Candy Benner at ENTA Allergy, Head & Neck Institute. Dr. Gibson will complete an allergy and immunology fellowship in June at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville in 2004. She received a doctor of medicine degree in 2001 from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. Dr. Gibson will begin seeing adult and pediatric allergy patients July 5. M. Mustansar Qureshi, M.D., has joined Dr. Mohammad Hasnain Dr. Mahammed Dawood and Physician Assistant Dean Davis at Kidney Specialists of Central Illinois specializing in nephrology. Dr. Qureshi completed a nephrology fellowship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2003 and an internal medicine residency at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Penn., in 2001. He completed a doctor of medicine degree in 1995 from the University of Punjab/Rawalpindi Medical College, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Dr. Qureshi is board certified in nephrology and internal medicine. Family Practitioner Tom Rohde, M.D., has joined Decatur Memorial Hospital and will open a family practice office located at 4847 US Route 36 East, Suite B in Decatur. He will begin seeing patients at his new office July 1. For the past 15 years, he has served as assistant professor at SIU Decatur Family Medicine Residency program. Dr. Rohde completed a family practice residency in 1991 at the SIU Decatur Family Medicine Residency Program. He received a doctor of medicine degree in 1986 from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He is board certified in family medicine. To schedule a patient, call 864-2700.
